About Workhorse Technologies

 |
Workhorse Technologies delivers innovative robotic technology that make inaccessible or rigorous subterranean data collection possible. Mines, caves and tunnels... we constantly strive to make the underground world safer, more accessible and better understood.
Established in 2002 by roboticists from the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, Workhorse Technologies designs rugged and intelligent systems to explore, model and map remote underground voids. Our systems are cutting-edge, practical and provide valuable information for both subterranean and surface developments.
Workhorse has performed a variety of void modeling projects for clients across the United States. Our volumetric estimates have been accurate to within 10% of actual backfill amounts and our maps are within inches to traditional surveying methods.
